Turn Left out of driveway onto Jonestown Road. After 1.8 miles turn Left onto Kaufman Street and look for the Oxford Furnace Lake sign. Continue 0.8 miles to the parking area. Map
Open daily from dawn to dusk. Parking is available. There are no established trails, but walking through the woods is allowed. Contact the township regarding fees and rules for swimming, amenities, boating and fishing from late spring to early fall. Restrooms and water fountain are only available when the lake is open for public use. Be aware that Kaufman Road is closed for duck hunting from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. on occasional weekdays during the month of September. Check with the township for current closures.
| |  Although likely to be busy with recreational users during the summer months, this 53-acre man-made lake is worth a careful scan for waterfowl during the off-season.
