There are so many wonderful stops within the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area (DWGNRA), it was difficult for us to narrow down the list. We have chosen many stops that our local naturalists highly recommend for premium wildlife viewing and combined those with more well-known scenic hikes, picturesque glens, outstanding scenic views, one of the best hawk watching sites in the state atop the Kittatinny Ridge, glacial lakes, rivers and streams that team with fish and provide food and shelter to a variety of wildlife. Wind through the DWGNRA and appreciate the fact that it was once slated to be flooded for a reservoir, and instead it was saved for all to enjoy.
