Our Great Valley Trail offers excellent wildlife watching and hiking opportunities. Investigate glacial Lakes, limestone outcroppings, miles of Rail Trails, scenic wonders along the Paulinskill River and Lake, trout-stocked streams, meadows, restored grasslands, and untouched forest lands. The Wildlife Management Areas (WMAs) along this trail present 3,500 acres of lakes, rivers, streams, springs, swamps, excellent butterfly populations, and excellent birding opportunities -- some of the best wildlife New Jersey has to offer.
